Tamara Cohn Eskenazi, Ph.D., Rabbi

Professor Tamara Cohn Eskenazi was the first woman professor appointed to the Rabbinical Faculty of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. She has served on the Executive Committee of the SBL and has been President of the Pacific Coast Region chapter of SBL. She was previously at University of Denver where she was also Director of its Institute of Interfaith Studies and co-founded the Jewish Women Resource Center.
