Dr. Norman C. Habel
Professor Emeritus, Flinders University of South Australia
Dr Habel, an Australian by birth, was Associate Professor at the Concordia Seminary, St Louis MO (1960-73), and Principal of the Kodaikanal International School, South India, from 1984-87. He returned to South Australia in 1988 to a chair at Flinders University and has been Professor Emeritus since 1998. From 2000-2011 he edited and contributed to the five volume Earth Bible and its sequel, the Earth Bible Commentary Series (2011). He was Convener of the SBL Section on Ecological Hermeneutics 2007-12.
